What an incredible event to be involved in. Gem Events Management had the pleasure of managing and directing the Safari Club Cookout event 2019 that ran over three days for lunch and dinner for a 150 pax at the peaceful Leeuwin Estate Safari Club. An Iconic event with a bit of a change up this year drawing a large international and national crowd.

Guest chefs Matt Stone, Prateek Sadhu, David Thompson & Garima Aroroa with catering team, Showcase Events cooked and served incredible food on and around the outdoor fire. We welcomed guests with a Gin cocktail sponsored by Fever-Tree Tonic then spoiled them with Leeuwin Estates fine wines and Gage Roads beers.

Styled by the incredible Bos Tents and Events there was loads of eye candy for guests and no short of a ‘wow’ on arrival. MC Jessica Arnott and theme fitting live musicians were a big hit and added entertainment for the vibe. A short question and answer at the end of the session was thoroughly enjoyed and some interesting points discussed.

I collate information into a document and work on an order of events with you, for you, your suppliers, the venue and of course me so that on the day we are all on exactly the same page and all details are finely covered.

The Happs Estate blends the natural beauty of the Australian bush with sweeping lawns and flowering native plants.
Set amongst the winery and pottery, the gardens offer breathtaking views to create your own unique photographic backdrops. Amphitheatres landscaped in the natural fall of the property provide the perfect setting for your ceremony and can cater for day time celebrations.
We are also a dog friendly venue and are more than happy to have you share your special day with your favourite furry friend.

The rustic stone barn with the Skigh Wine cellar door, originally built in the 1930’s is the perfect bar and lounge space for your wedding day that steps on to the covered alfresco space and into the lush gardens.

There are ceremony & reception locations to choose from, delicious Skigh Wine packages, an incredible catering & waitstaff team that will help create the celebration you deserve.

Rusty and Ali’s Wedding

Love is love and it sure was visible throughout the emotional and incredible celebration for these two beautiful men.

Living in California and choosing to hold their wedding in the Margaret River Region, I was delighted to assist them with all their special plans. The stunning grounds of Cape Lodge hosted the simple, elegant and touching ceremony held by Donna McClelland, followed by a delicious sit down shared feast in the Cape Lodge Restaurant overlooking the dam.

Beautifully captured by the talented and gorgeous Freedom Garvey Photography the photos show everything there was emotionally and physically.

A wine tour was organised for after lunch with Gannaways Charters to two lovely local wineries Happs Estate and Aravina Estate to have a tasting, tour and relaxing, fun filled afternoon.

PAULINA & ZEKE

Paulina & Zeke’s Wedding

The beautiful couple celebrated in style with their gorgeous family and friends at the stunning setting of Robert Oatley Winery. The romance was set as guests wandered through the rose garden with the music from the live string duo to arrive at the beautifully decorated ceremony arbour.

Sparkling wine was served in the garden followed by lawn games and delicious canapés up by the fairy lit, lounge and bar table set receptions area. Pisco Sours were a pleasantly enjoyed surprise by the dance floor to toast the newlyweds and despite the cold air they all partied on to dance up a storm.

A celebration it was for sure and a truly magical day for Paulina and Zeke.
